SUMMARY

​The program aims to empower migrant and unemployed women by providing practical skills in sewing, tailoring, and fashion design, boosting their self-confidence and sense of achievement. This initiative focuses on creating upskilling and reskilling pathways to enhance employability and self-sufficiency. Additionally, it supports entrepreneurship by equipping participants with the skills to start their own businesses or improve their prospects within the fashion industry, while also developing a comprehensive manual for continued support. Cultural inclusion and diversity are promoted through multicultural fashion events, offering participants a platform to showcase their work and fostering social inclusion. Finally, the program provides digital marketing and social media training, enabling participants to build personal brands and promote their creations, while addressing digital transformation by enhancing digital readiness and resilience. 

OBJECTIVES

​1. Empowerment through Skill Development:
- Objective: To empower migrant and unemployed women by providing them with practical skills in sewing, tailoring, and
fashion design.
- Outcome: Participants will gain self-confidence and a sense of personal achievement through the development of their own
style and the creation of fashion products.
- Priority: This objective aligns with the priority of creating upskilling and reskilling pathways (ADU) by offering training that
enhances employability and self-sufficiency.

2. Promotion of Entrepreneurship:
- Objective: To support participants in developing entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to start their own businesses or
improve their employment prospects.
- Outcome 1: Participants will acquire practical skills in sewing and tailoring, making them more employable in the fashion
industry or enabling them to start their own businesses.
- Outcome 2: The development of a comprehensive manual will provide ongoing support and guidance for participants and
others interested in the fashion industry.
- Priority: This objective addresses the priority of fostering entrepreneurship and employability by equipping participants with
the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the job market.

3. Cultural Inclusion and Diversity:
- Objective: To promote cultural diversity and inclusion through fashion, celebrating the unique backgrounds of the
participants.
- Outcome: The organization of multicultural fashion events will promote cultural diversity and inclusion, providing a platform
for participants to showcase their work.
- Priority: This objective supports the horizontal priority of promoting social inclusion and diversity by creating a platform for
cultural expression and exchange.

4. Digital and Marketing Skills:
- Objective: To provide training in digital marketing and social media, helping participants to promote their creations and
build a personal brand.
- Outcome: Participants will develop skills in digital marketing and social media, enabling them to effectively promote their
creations and build a personal brand.
- Priority: This objective aligns with the priority of addressing digital transformation through the development of digital
readiness, resilience, and capacity.

TARGET GROUPS:

MIGRANT WOMEN: who have migrated to the host country, often facing challenges related to integration, language barriers, and cultural differences.
Needs:
-Financial Independence: Many migrant women struggle to find stable employment and achieve financial independence.
-Skill Development: There is a need for practical skills that can lead to employment or entrepreneurial opportunities.
-Social Inclusion: Migrant women often face social isolation and need opportunities to connect with the local community and
other migrants.

UNEMPLOYED WOMEN: currently unemployed, including those who may have been out of the workforce for an extended period.
Needs:
- Reskilling and Upskilling: Unemployed women need training to update their skills or learn new ones that are relevant to the
current job market.
- Confidence Building: Long-term unemployment can affect self-esteem and confidence, so there is a need for programs that
help rebuild these.
- Job Readiness: Support in preparing for job applications, interviews, and understanding the job market.

LOW QUALIFIED OR WITHOUT QUALIFICATIONS: individuals who have low levels of formal education or no formal qualifications.
Needs:
- Basic Education and Training: Access to basic education and vocational training to improve their employability.
- Practical Skills: Hands-on training in specific skills that can lead to immediate job opportunities.
- Support Services: Additional support such as career counseling, mentoring, and guidance to navigate the job market.
