Project Description: 
The project “Cross the Bridge” aims to combine several streams of activities under one brand-initiative, which is the Welcoming Centre. The Welcoming Centers will provide space, materials and solutions for involved teaching personnel and students. They will become integrated with partner schools' activities to ensure that all needs of students with foreign background are met.

The specific objectives of the project are to:
  • offer integration solutions to the educational systems which are faced with numerous challenges
  • create a structure and capabilities for meeting the needs of students with foreign background in a new environment
  • involve local students in activities for helping students with foreign background and through that bridge the communication thus improve tolerance levels in schools
  • offer teachers effective strategies in dealing with students with foreign background
  • provide technological solutions, training and other activities to boost teachers` ability to successfully integrate students.

The activities of the project are:
  • Implement the Welcoming Centers - mobilize students and teachers
  • QR codes: posted in selected important places in school and city, linking places to information
  • Theatrical plays
  • Quizlet to teach foreign languages
