Project Description: The project "Digital World for Inclusion - DWI" aims at improving the learning for youth coming from diverse backgrounds and cultures. It increases youth’s potentials, skills and ICT learning, using the digital world as a tool for informal learning and inclusion. Digital world is a major instrument as technology becomes an important component of our daily lives.29 young participants hosted in Pafos 1-9/7/17, cooperated, learnt, created and exchanged cultural elements.
The specific objectives of the project are to: - effectively use digital communication tools - develop effective communication skills - develop ideas for better digital communication - efficiently lead and manage their teams, co-workers etc - share the knowledge among each other - learn the appropriate use of Internet and its risks - raise awareness on different topics related to democracy, human rights, citizenship, culture, sports etc. - work on inclusion methods for a society without horror attacks and hate speech.
The activities of the project are: - Trainings to dress youth with effective communication and digital skills - Workshops to develop the ability to engage and motivate others - Simulations for discovering ways to work through difficult conversations - Courses for in-demand skills in digital data, design of tools
