Project description "DIVERSITY AND Inclusion Lab" has been approved by the Portuguese National Agency!
The overall aim of the training course is to provide a space for the participants to become young leaders of social changes and keep actively engaged in the process of youth empowerment and inclusion in the long term perspective; The training course focuses on tangible outcome and It is the space for the participants to share their understanding of exclusion and to exchange their working methods in inclusion. OBJECTIVES: -To develop a common understanding on the nature of exclusion and discrimination and share practices among programme and partner countries; - To explore different concepts of inclusion and systematic approaches to social change in the youth sector for young people with fewer opportunities; -To promote participation in democratic life in Europe ,active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and solidarity; -To develop new skills and level of competences of youth participation and project management,including those with fewer opportunities in order to better inspire young people's commitments to contribute effective and innovative actions; -To promote social actions at community level ,foster quality improvements in youth work and enhance cooperation between organisations in the youth field between EU and EECA; -To raise participants’ awareness about the opportunities of Erasmus+ and non-formal education. The methodology of the training course is based on non-formal education.Special attention will be paid to the fact that the competences and the knowledge gained and transmitted during the course remain sustainable and transferable. At the end of the project the participants , thanks to the new skills and competencies acquired in a non-formal education context, will be able to address to address the challenges related to exclusion and discrimination. Moreover, they can be conscious of their role as change-makers and multipliers and play an important role to build inclusive societies at local levels. PARTCITIPANTS’ PROFILE: Each participant should be at least 18 years old without upper age limit. Please, keep in mind that the project involves the participants with fewer opportunities (at least one per country),including: Cultural differences, Economic obstacles, Geographical obstacles ,Refugees (or Internally displaced persons),Social obstacles. Each organization is responsible for sending 3 participantsl except Portugal (4 participants). Gender balance is required. Working Language: English
